Installation Help: 

First ensure that you uninstall any older Desk Quote Professional installations on your computer,delete the folder name Desk Quote Professional in either C:/Programme Files directory or C:/ ProgramData directory.

The folder Desk Quote Professional holds your back end files and all your important company data.When using Desk Quote, we disallow automatic deletion of this folder for security reasons and to prevent users from accidentally deleting the folder through the windows uninstall feature so you will have to delete this folder manually.  

The Desk Quote Download file is approx 98meg in size after downloading check the file size prior to setup to ensure that your internet connection was not interupted during the download.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS :

 2G MHz PC or higher for best results 1 GB Ram 

Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/ME/XP/Vista/Windows7 

If your computer is running Office 2010 and have Access 2010 installed, please uninstall Access 2010 before installing Desk Quote Professional. 

 SETUP 

After setup has been finalised click on the Desk Quote Professional icon on your desktop to start Desk Quote Professional.

You will first encounter the Trial Screen as illustrated below in Fig 1

To trial the Software click on the Try button. 

After purchase and to register the software click on the registration tab and email us the registration number we will then e mail you the Unlock Code.

During the Desk Quote Software Setup you will also setup an installation called DBPIX (Desk Quote Image Controller) 

Use the following Server License Number below to activate the DBPIX software during the Desk Quote Installation

( See Fig 2 Below )

Desk Quote Professional consists of a Front End and a Back end.

The Back end of Desk Quote Professional holds all your valuable data and is linked to the front end.

During the original installation Desk Quote Professional automatically links the front end with the back end.

The installation path for a computer running Windows Xp is " C:\Programe Files " and the installation path for computers running Windows 7 and Vista is C:\ProgramData.

When starting Desk Quote Professional if desk quote cannot automatically link to your back end a popup form will be loaded as illustrated in fig 3 below.

Follow the instructions in the popup form to search and save the path of your back end tables.

PLEASE NOTE

To locate your Programe Data folder on computers running Windows Vista and Windows 7, you must first go to your folder Options and select the toggle button Show Hidden Files and folders.

You will then have assecc to your Programe Data folder, the folder Desk Quote Professional is housed in this folder.

If Desk Quote Professional front end cannot correctly locate the back end tables it will fail on startup .

 

LOG IN FORM:

Make a note of the Log In details below, you will need this login information to log in to the trial.

Your Log In Details are:

Username = admin
Password = Password1
 
The Log In form illustrated in Fig 4 below shows the main Log In form where the log in details above will be entered.

After Log In the desk Quote Switch Board form will appear click on the continue button as illustrated in Fig 5 below to continue .

Download Instructions when using the add to cart web function.

1. Click on Add To Cart to send your required Software Version Download to the Shopping Cart.
2. Click on the Proceed to Checkout Button to move to the Secure Checkout Page.
3. After Order Confirmation please click on the DOWNLOAD THE ITEMS YOU ORDERED LINK  you will be sent an email confirming your order.
  
For your convenience, we created you an account so you can check the status of your order and checkout quicker in the future ,this email contains your password to login and to download Desk Quote Professional.

Check your email for the password and login in , enter your email and password and click on the next button.
You will then be redirected to your Account page. From this page you can view your orders, update your account details and more.

Click on the Completed orders link and Download Desk Quote Professional.

In the download window click on the save button and save the setup file to your desktop.

Install desk quote by clicking on the downloaded setup file and follow the instructions above.
