Getting Started with Desk Quote Professional.
To trial our Software click on the Try button.
To register the software click on the registration tab and email us the registration number we will then e mail you the Unlock Code.

To activate Desk Quote Professional please enter the User Name and Product Key supplied and click the register button.
You must enter these details exactly as supplied.,
The trial version will not work after the trial period is exceeded or the number of views has been exceeded ,please send us your registration code and we will email you the activation key.

Table Linking.
To start using Desk Quote Professional you must first link to your back end tables.
If desk
quote cannot automatically locate your tables the form in Fig1 below will
appear.
Follow the instructions on this form to link to your back end tables.

After successfully locating the back end tables the Welcome Form will pop up and then fade to the Main Start Up form (Fig 3) as illustrated below

You are now provided with two main options the Company Button and the Continue button ,
you also have options to change the colour appearance of the back forms by clicking on the Change Colour Option if required Fig (4) .
PLEASE NOTE:
Changing this colour option will change all Microsoft Office Colours.

Clicking on the Regsiter Button will open the activation form to register and activate the software.
Clicking on the Admin Panel Button will open the Desk Quote Admin Access Password Entry Form. (Fig 5 )

Click on the Enter Password Button to open the password entry form (Fig 6) and enter in the Password you were supplied.

After Entering the correct password the Desk Quote Admin Access Password Entry Form. (Fig 5 ) enter admin panel button will be enabled.
Click on the Enter Admin Panel to open the Administrator Panel. (Fig 7)

The Users Button in (Fig 7) will open the Add New User Form (Fig 8).
This form allows you to add new users to Desk Quote Professional, clicking on the GroupID drop down box you can select what Group to add your new user.
ie: Will the user have all access or just access to some of the forms available in Desk Quote.This topic is covered in more depth in the User Permission section of these help files.

Clicking on the User Groups Button (Fig 7) will open your User Permissions Form (Fig 9)

The user Permissions form will allow the Administrator to select what forms are available to certain user groups in Desk Quote Professional.
The Company Form:
Click on the Company button to start entering your company details and also to upload your company logo.
It is important do carry out this procedure first because all the Details we enter here will appear in all your Reports i.e.: Quotation, Delivery Note, Invoice, Purchase Order. See Fig (10) below.
The Company Form:
( Notice how the Company Buttons appearance has changed { see Fig (5) below }, this informs you what form is currently open.)

To Load your Company Logo click on the green pentagon symbol in the Company Form to open the Load Logo Form (Fig 11)

Right click on the image and search and load your Company Logo.
After entering your company details and loading your Company Logo you are now ready to start entering your Customers and Supplier details and start quoting your Customers..
Before starting a quotation Desk Quote Professional needs to establish who the quotation is for, the same applies to the Purchasing Form with reference the Suppliers Form, who will you be purchasing from what Supplier!
After entering in your Customer you can then begin to produce a Quotation.
After entering in a Supplier you are ready to start making Purchases
